FAQ

Is the Cleric hard to play in AION 2?
The Cleric is one of the more forgiving classes to learn but one of the harder ones to master. Basic healing is straightforward; the skill ceiling comes from pre-casting shields before damage lands, cleansing the right debuff at the right time, and weaving damage for contribution rewards without letting anyone die.
What is the max level in AION 2?
The level cap on the global client at launch is 50, matching the Korean client's early cycle. Because AION 2 receives regular content updates, check the official site before planning long-term — this guide's leveling route covers 1-50 as of the October 2026 global launch.
How do you level a Cleric fast in AION 2?
Level as a battle Cleric: invest Daevanion points into damage skills like Condemnation and Chain of Torment, always contribute damage in dungeons because rewards scale with contribution, and keep your gear's Attack stat current. Switch to a healing focus once you start raiding at endgame.
Should I pick Cleric or Chanter as a healer?
Pick Cleric to be the true main healer — it has the strongest direct healing and the highest group demand. Chanter is a melee support hybrid with party buffs; it can heal easy farm content but hard dungeons and raids still want a Cleric.

Is the AION 2 Cleric the right class for you?

The Cleric is AION 2’s dedicated healer — the class every dungeon group recruits first. You get the strongest direct healing in the game, debuff cleansing, resurrection and damage shields, plus a surprisingly effective damage kit for solo play. Community consensus on r/Aion2 is blunt: the Cleric is the de facto healing class, and it is the safe pick if you want easy group finder queues.

Pick the Cleric if you enjoy keeping a party alive through hard mechanics, and don’t mind that your damage is “good for a healer” rather than competitive with damage classes — this AION 2 Cleric guide walks through exactly why the trade is worth it. If you’d rather buff a party from melee range than heal it, the Chanter is the alternative Priest class — we compare them in the build guide. Browsing all nine options first? The AION 2 classes overview maps every role and playstyle, and the tier list ranks them per game mode.

What are the Cleric’s core skills?

The Cleric kit splits into healing, damage and utility. These are the skills that matter most as you level:

Skill Type What it does
Healing Light Heal Your main single-target heal; a top Daevanion priority
Radiant Recovery Heal AoE recovery cast after group-wide damage
Light of Regenerator Heal Heal-over-time you keep rolling on the tank
Yustiel’s Power Shield (stigma) Pre-cast burst mitigation; Lv 5 adds a damage shield
Absolution Cleanse (stigma) Removes debuffs; Lv 5 cuts cooldown, Lv 10 expands range
Salvation Defense (stigma) Invulnerability bubble; Lv 15 targets the lowest-HP ally
Condemnation Damage Core DPS skill; crit resets its own cooldown at Lv 12
Earth’s Retribution Damage Filler damage you weave between heals
Chain of Torment Damage Damage-over-time that also peels in PvP
Earth Punishment Damage (stigma) Guarantees Condemnation crits at Lv 5
Debilitating Mark Utility Slows and weakens divers attacking your backline
Defiance Defense Breaks hard crowd control (Airborne, Stun, Knockdown, Fear)

Stigmas unlock around level 22 — before that, skill levels and Daevanion board points define your build.

What is the Cleric healing rotation?

Keep Light of Regenerator rolling on the tank at all times, spot-heal spikes with Healing Light, and answer group-wide damage with Radiant Recovery. Pre-cast Yustiel’s Power before known burst windows — a shield applied before the damage lands is worth far more than a heal after it.

The practical priority list below is the backbone of every AION 2 Cleric guide, and it barely changes between patches:

  1. Maintain Light of Regenerator (HoT) on the active tank
  2. Cleanse debuffs with Absolution as soon as they land
  3. Pre-cast Yustiel’s Power before boss burst phases
  4. Spot-heal squishies with Healing Light
  5. Weave Earth’s Retribution / Chain of Torment / Condemnation in downtime

That last line matters more than new healers expect, and any AION 2 Cleric guide that skips it costs you rewards: dungeon rewards scale with damage contribution, so a Cleric who only heals earns visibly worse rewards than one who damages between casts.

What is the Cleric DPS rotation?

Against solo targets, the battle Cleric loop is built on Condemnation resets: Earth Punishment (Lv 5) guarantees Condemnation crits, and Condemnation (Lv 12) resets its own cooldown on crit. Pre-cast Noble Aura, drop Divine Aura, pop Prayer of Amplification, then loop Condemnation with Earth’s Retribution as filler and Bolt during stagger windows.

For the full stigma loadout, stat priorities and milestone table, see the best Cleric build guide — the two pages are designed to be read together.

How do you level a Cleric from 1 to 50?

Level as a battle Cleric, not a pure healer — every fast AION 2 Cleric guide levels this way. Nothing in the 1–50 open-world content needs dedicated healing, and damage-focused investment kills dramatically faster. The route that works on the global client:

  • Levels 1–21: quest through the campaign zones; take any Attack gear; put early Daevanion points into passive nodes (they carry both playstyles)
  • Level 22: stigmas unlock — take Earth Punishment and start building toward the Condemnation loop
  • Levels 22–35: keep the DPS build; run each dungeon once for quests, always damaging for contribution rewards
  • Levels 35–50: prioritize dungeons with daily/weekly quests; keep gear Attack current; carry MP consumables for long pulls
  • At 50: respec toward the healing or PvP loadout once you start raiding — see the build guide

A note on the level cap: global launched at cap 50 on October 5, 2026, following the Korean client’s cycle. Exact XP curve details may shift with patches; the route above is about ordering, not fixed breakpoints.

What settings and macros should a Cleric set up?

Open the macro editor from the skill window (press K, then the Macro tab in the top-right corner). A macro holds up to 20 rows, each row firing in order with its own delay — around 10 ms between instant skills, longer for skills with cast times, and longer still if your ping is high and rows start dropping.

Two macros cover most Cleric play, and they are the first ones any AION 2 Cleric guide should hand you:

  • D weave macro: Earth’s Retribution → Condemnation → Bolt, for contribution damage between heals
  • Emergency heal macro: Yustiel’s Power → Healing Light → Radiant Recovery, bound somewhere your panic finger can find

Bind the macro through Settings → General → Key Settings. A full macro walkthrough with row-by-row delays is coming in the dedicated macro guide.

How does the Cleric compare to the Chanter?

Short version for readers comparing classes across this AION 2 Cleric guide: the Cleric is the healer, the Chanter is the support. Chanters buff the party with mantras and can heal basic farm runs, but hard content still recruits a Cleric first. Their signature Undefeated Mantra also doesn’t stack with your Light of Protection stigma, which is worth knowing when both classes land in the same group.

A dedicated Cleric vs Chanter comparison page is coming in the next content update — until then, the build guide’s synergy section covers how the two classes interact in practice.
