How to use this AION 2 rift timer
- 1
Pick your service — International (community UTC clock), Korea or Taiwan (official local cycles). The countdown converts every opening into your device's own timezone.
- 2
Watch the "Next rift" card — it counts down to the next opening. Taiwan has a documented 15-minute entry window; be at the portal before zero. Other services have not published entry durations yet.
- 3
Plan around the "Then" cards — the following openings let you slot rifts between dungeons, dailies or sleep. Openings repeat every 3 hours all day.
What are rifts in AION 2?
Rifts are the recurring timed portal events this AION 2 rift timer tracks: on a fixed 3-hour cycle, a rift opens in the field for a short entry window, giving players a scheduled reason to group up and jump in. Because openings are clocked rather than random, planning around them matters — which is exactly what this timer is for. Taiwan's official guides document a 15-minute entry window; other services have not published theirs yet.
rift planning pairs naturally with class planning: a healer never waits long for a rift group. Our AION 2 tier list shows where every class sits, and the best Cleric build keeps you useful inside one.
